Raiders 2025 Coaches

Dean is commencing his second season as the Senior Coach of the Dianella Morley Raiders having taken over the role mid-way through the 2024 season.
Dean played senior football with Dianella Morley Raiders and has previously coaching coached junior football at Edgewater Woodvale, Wanneroo and worked with West Perth Development squads.
During the day you can find Dean working at the RAC as an Account Manager.
In-between his time with the Raiders and the RAC Dean relaxes on the couch mentally reviewing Raiders games and modifying his constantly evolving game plan.

Club legend, Joel Phillips, will oversee the Raiders Reserves team in 2025 while he recovers from a long-term injury.
Joel plans to meld the Raiders Reserves into a hard-working, uncompressing force mimicking his 100 plus games in the red and blue Raider's jumper. As a player Joel's “follow me boy’s” attitude has been a key piece of the Raider's resurgence in the past couple of years and the club feels privileged that he is continuing to develop younger on-field talent while maximizing the output (and enjoyment) from club veterans at Light Street.
Joel’s coaching philosophy is hard work beats talent, the one percenters triumph and the hard work you do will get you over other teams. Joel believes you play every game like it’s your last one with your heart on your sleeve. The key to Joel’s philosophy of it all is to have FUN doing it with your brothers in the Raiders deadly club colors.
During the day you can find Joel working across Perth @ NEO Concrete group, where he is a team leader and indigenous mentor.
Away from football Joel enjoys spending time with his family watching them play their sports
Opposition players who no longer must experience 1 on 1 ground and aerial contests with Joel also appreciate him taking his football knowledge into the coaching box!!
